[2010_10-23] Carlos & Elsa’s Wedding – Set 1
As much as we wanted to say that Carlos & Elsa’s Wedding happened on a beautiful Saturday afternoon/evening at the Kellogg House at Cal Poly Pomona, we couldn’t. The sun set early, and it began to drizzle. The drizzle started light, but later became heavy. Very heavy. Though the ceremony was spared, the worst of the weather came during the reception. The outdoor tables, the outdoor dance floor, and the guests were not spared any of the wetness.
But you know what, none of that wetness mattered. The event continued onward. They ate. They danced. And they danced some more. In a way, the falling water droplets made the evening just that much more special. Perhaps a bit magical. See for yourself. The drizzle is apparent in some of the shots that were backlit by a remote strobe light.
